Background

Lori is a lifetime resident of Montgomery County and District 5. She is a graduate of Northeast High School, has Associate Degrees of Science in Criminal Justice and Microsoft Systems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Business. After teaching at Draughons Junior College, she worked in the business operations sector of the healthcare industry. She is currently the co-owner of a veteran owned small business. She is also a certified life coach and life mastery consultant.

Mason’s public service began over 15 years ago as a notary public for the State of Tennessee. She has enjoyed serving the Clarksville community through many non-profit organizations to include Montgomery County Relay for Life, the Tennessee Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association, serving as Secretary of Clarksville-Montgomery Crime Stoppers, serving as Secretary & Project Manager of the Clarksville Citizens Police Academy, as a lifetime member of the Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized, and as a student mentor for TN Achieves.

Mason’s desire as County Commissioner is to be an available representative to everyone in District 5 regardless of political affiliation, from the business owners of Downtown Clarksville to the residents of Lincoln Homes, Summit Heights, and everywhere in between. She strongly believes in government transparency and accountability and feels local government needs to be more financially responsible by stopping the excessive spending and tax hikes that have affected all citizens of Montgomery County.

District 5 covers all of Downtown Clarksville, from Riverside Drive to Golf Club Lane and from Kraft Street to Hickory Grove Boulevard and Paradise Hill Road.
